It was determined as follows: <br /> <br />1990 Local Government Aid - before <br />the 1990 tax law aid reduction <br />Reduction in LGA under the 1990 tax law <br />Actual 1990 Local Government Aid amount <br />Reduction for State costs <br /> Final 1991 Local Government Aid <br /> <br />$306,025 <br /> (25,761) <br />$280,264 <br /> (13) * <br />$280,251 <br /> <br />* The tax law provided for a reduction in LGA to fund the State Demographer's <br />Office. The total funding provided under this law for 1991 is $16,000 and is <br />allocated proportionally to the county governments, cities and towns entitled to <br />receive LGA in 1991. This <br />means the City of Ramsey will receive an amount not to exceed $280,264 in <br />future years. As you can see, this amount is less than the 1986 LGA revenue. <br /> <br /> <br />
