I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I CASE ADOPT ORDINANCE CHANGING LITHIUM STREET N.W. TO NEON STREET N.W. IN THE RECORDED PLAT OF HALL ANDERSON ACRES ADDITION By: Acting Community Development Director Sylvia Frolik Background: On July 24, 1990, the City Council conducted a public hearing and received comments from affected residents, the Police Department and 911 Communications regarding inconsistencies with some of the existing address numbers and street numbers and names in Ramsey. It was noted that what was recorded as Lithium Street in the plat of Hall Anderson Acres was signed as Neon Street and Neon Street is what the residents of that street were using as an address. In reviewing the City's grid pattern, it was determined that either Neon Street or Lithium Street would be appropriate. In order to lessen the impact to the residents, Council directed City Staff to draft an ordinance to change Lithium Street in the recorded plat of Hall Anderson Acres to Neon Street. That ordinance was presented to City Council on August 14, 1990 and was introduced at that time. Observations: On August 14, 1990 City Council introduced an ordinance to change Lithium Street N.W. to Neon Street N.W. A copy of the proposed ordinance is enclosed for your information. Recommendation: City Staff recommends adoption of the ordinance at this time. Council Action: Motion to: Adopt Ordinance g90-X changing Lithium Street N.W. to Neon Street N.W. in the recorded plat of Hall Anderson Acres Addition.
