Section c also specifically lists nine (9) business types that were related to a ten (10) acre <br />threshold. Since the City Council desired to remove the 10 acre threshold, it may be <br />appropriate to also eliminate the list of businesses. Providing for a specific list of businesses <br />may inhibit the variety of business operations the City Council could consider for a home <br />occupation permit. It is difficult to anticipate every appropriate business operation that may <br />be requested. The City Council could decide if a proposed business is an appropriate <br />operation based on the intent statement, conditions, and findings outlined in the ordinance. <br />Therefore, staffis proposing to remove the list of businesses fi.om the ordinance. <br /> <br /> 1.
