introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #03-12- XXX RESOLUTION ADOPTING THE 2003, PAYABLE 2004, MUNICIPAL TAX LEVY NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, COUNTY OF ANOKA, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) That t he following 1 evies for assessed 2 003, payable 2004, be levied upon the taxable property i n s aid City o fRamsey, Anoka County, State of Minnesota for the following purposes: GENERAL LEVY Fund 101: General Fund - General Operations Fiscal Disparity Transfer (as certified) Collected as Property Tax $ 691,825 4,087,492 $ 4,779,317 DEBT SERVICE LEVY Special Assessment Obligations Pera Employer Contribution Rate Increase Certificates of Indebtedness Lease Revenue Bonds $ $ 8,784 144,056 150,607 $303,447 DRAINAGE DISTRICT LEVY Mississippi River Storm Water Sub Drainage District #1 $43,348 TOTAL CERTIFIED LEVIES $ 5,126,112 2) That this final levy does not exceed the Proposed Levy adopted September 9, 2003. 3) This final levy does not include Debt Service Levy on $1,695,000 GO Bond in the amount of $58,832. 4) That this final levy is being adopted as a result of the Public Budget Hearing held for the purpose of hearing the opinions of Ramsey residents on the proposed budget and amount of property taxes. 5) That the City Administrator/Clerk be directed to transmit a certified copy of this resolution to the Anoka County Auditor's office on or before Monday, December 30, 2003. That the motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor:
