Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION #03-12-XXX <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AMENDING THE 2004 SCHEDULE OF RATES, FEES AND CHARGES <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the current Schedule of Rates, Fees, and Charges was adopted by the <br />Ramsey City Council on November 25, 2003, with the exception of special events, late license <br />fees, and application fees applicable to planning and zoning; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, staff has further researched appropriate fees for special events, late license <br />fees and application fees; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, building fees need to be amended to reflect a Consumer Price Index (CPI) <br />adjustment to the 1997 UBC table; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, at the City Council meeting of December 9, 2003, staff recommended <br />approval of the amended Schedule of Rates, Fees and Charges with the changes noted. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br /> 1) That the 2004 Schedule of Rates, Fees, and Charges is hereby amended to establish the <br /> following: <br /> <br /> Special Events - License fee to be determined per event by City Council + staff <br /> time ~ 2.75*wage/hour. <br /> <br /> License Late Fee - 15% of license fee/month <br /> <br /> Application fees on zoning & planning - $200.00 <br /> <br /> Building Permit Fees - 1997 UBC Table with CPI Adjustment (LMC/AMM <br /> recommendation) <br /> <br />The motion for adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember, and <br />upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />and the following voted against: <br />and the following abstained: <br />and the following were absent: <br /> <br />whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council <br />this the 9th day of December, 2003. <br /> <br /> <br />
