SECTION 01152 <br />APPLICATIONS FOR PAYMENT <br />PART 1 - GENERAL <br />1.1 DESCRIPTION <br />A. Work included: Comply with procedures described in this Section when applying <br />for progress payment and final payment under the Contract. <br />B. Related work: <br />1. Documents affecting work of this Section include, but are not necessarily <br />limited to, General Conditions, Supplementary Conditions, and Sections in <br />Division 1 of these Specifications. <br />2. The Contract Sum and the schedule for payments are described in the <br />Form of Agreement. <br />3. Payments upon Substantial Completion and Completion of the Work are <br />described in the General Conditions and in Section 01700 of these <br />Specifications. <br />4. The Architect's approval of applications for progress payment and final <br />payment may be contingent upon the Architect's approval of status of <br />Project Record Documents as described in Section 01720 of these <br />Specifications. <br />1.2 QUALITY ASSURANCE <br />A. Prior to start of construction, secure the Architect's approval of the schedule of <br />values required to be submitted under Paragraph 9.2 of the General Conditions, <br />and further described in Section 01370 of these Specifications. <br />1.3 SUBMITTALS <br />A. Formal submittal: Unless otherwise directed the Architect: <br />1. Make formal submittal of request for payment by filling in the agreed <br />data, by typewriter or neat lettering in ink, on AIA Document G702, <br />"Application and Certificate for Payment," plus continuation sheet or <br />sheets. <br />2. Sign and notarize the Application and Certificate for Payment. <br />01152-1 <br />
