SECTION 03100 <br />CONCRETE FORMWORK <br />PART 1 - GENERAL <br />1.1 DESCRIPTION <br />A. Work included: Provide formwork in accordance with provisions of this <br />Section for cast -in -place concrete shown on the Drawings or required by <br />other Sections of these Specifications. <br />B. Related work: <br />1. Documents affecting work of this Section include, but are not <br />necessarily limited to, General Conditions, Supplementary <br />Conditions, and Sections in Division 1 of these Specifications. <br />2. Section 02220 - Excavating, Backfilling & Compacting <br />3. Section 03200 - Concrete Reinforcement <br />4. Section 03300 - Cast -in -place Concrete <br />1.2 QUALITY ASSURANCE <br />A. Use adequate numbers of skilled workers who are thoroughly trained <br />and experienced in the necessary crafts and who are completely familiar <br />with the specified requirements and the methods needed for proper <br />performance of the work of this Section. <br />B. Design of formwork is the Contractor's responsibility. <br />C. Standards: In addition to complying with pertinent regulations of <br />governmental agencies having jurisdiction, comply with pertinent <br />provisions of ACI 347. <br />1.3 SUBMITTALS <br />A. Comply with pertinent provisions of Section 01340. <br />B. Product data: Within 30 calendar days after the Contractor has received <br />the Owner's Notice to Proceed, submit manufacturer's data and <br />installation instructions for proprietary materials including form coatings, <br />ties, and accessories, and manufactured form systems if used. <br />1.4 PRODUCT HANDLING <br />A. Comply with pertinent provisions of Section 01640. <br />03100-1 <br />
