Alternates: <br />1. Cornell Iron Works <br />2. Amarr <br />3. Clopay <br />1.2 SYSTEM DESCRIPTION <br />A. Design Requirements: <br />1. Cycle Life: <br />a. Design doors of standard construction for normal use of up to 20 cycle per day <br />maximum. <br />2. Insulated Door Slat Material Requirements: <br />a. Flame Spread Index of 10 and a Smoke Developed Index of 50 as tested per <br />ASTM E84. <br />b. Minimum Sound Transmission Class (STC) rating of 26 (22/22GA) or 33 <br />(18/22GA) as tested per ASTM E90. <br />c. Minimum R-value of 4.6 and U-value of 0.217 (polystyrene insulation) or R- <br />value of 6.29 and U-value of 0.159 (polyurethane insulation) as calculated using <br />the ASHRAE Handbook of Fundamentals. <br />d. Insulation to be CFC Free with an Ozone Depletion Potential (ODP) rating of <br />zero. <br />1.3 SUBMITTALS <br />A. Reference Section 01 33 00 Submittal Procedures; submit the following items: <br />1. Product Data. <br />2. Shop Drawings: Include special conditions not detailed in Product Data.
