B. Ceramic tile base shall match wall tiles, 4-1/4" x 4-1/4", with cove base, color as <br />selected by Architect. <br />C. Provide necessary trim pieces to match wall tile at exposed edges. <br />2.2 FLOOR TILE: <br />A. Toilet Rooms: Unglazed floor tile; based on DALTILE unglazed mosaics 2 x 2 <br />Group1. <br />B. Concession Room: floor & base based on DALTILE Quarry Textures 6 x 6 Group 2. <br />2.2 SETTING MATERIALS <br />A. Of type and consistency as recommended by adhesive manufacturer. <br />B. Tile Adhesives: water resistant organic type conforming to U.S. Department of <br />Commerce, Commerce Standard CS181-52. Manufacturer must certify that <br />adhesive is proper type of intended application and each container shall bear <br />Hallmark, showing compliance with commercial standards. <br />PART 3 - EXECUTION <br />3.1 INSTALLATION <br />A. Tile shall be installed, grouted, cleaned, protected and cured in accordance with the <br />applicable Standard Specifications of the America Standards and the Tile Council of <br />America. <br />B. Ceramic tile to be thin set on floors and walls. <br />C. Close off spaces in which tile is being set to traffic and other work during <br />installation and for 48 hours after completion of tile work. Do not apply mortar <br />to surfaces covered by frost. Minimum temperature for installation of tile shall be <br />40 degrees and rising. Cut and drill the trim shapes accurately without damage. <br />Rub all exposed cut edges smooth with abrasive stone. <br />D. Protect tile from damage until it has been accepted. <br />09310-2 <br />
