SECTION 10250 <br />FIRE PROTECTION SPECIALTIES <br />PART 1- GENERAL <br />1.1 DESCRIPTION <br />A. Work included: Provide fire protection devices where shown on the Drawings, as <br />specified herein, and as needed for a complete and proper installation. <br />B. Related work: Documents affecting work of this Section include, but are not <br />necessarily limited to, General Conditions, Supplementary Conditions, and <br />Sections in Division 1 of these Specifications. <br />1. Section 04220 - Unit Masonry <br />2. Section 09260 - Gypsum Drywall <br />1.2 QUALITY ASSURANCE <br />A. Provide fire extinguishers which are UL-listed and bear UL "Listing Mark" for <br />type, rating, and classification of extinguisher indicated. <br />1.3 SUBMITTALS <br />A. Submit shop drawings/product data (Ref.: Section 01340). <br />PART 2 - PRODUCTS <br />2.1 FIRE EXTINGUISHER CABINET: <br />A. Furnish and install where indicated on drawings, the following cabinet as <br />manufactured by Larsen s Manufacturing Company of Minneapolis, Minnesota, <br />or equal: <br />1. Fully recessed #2712R cabinets as specified on the plans. <br />2. Cabinet shall have full glass doors with obscure wire glass; "flat trim" for <br />full recess; baked -on white finish and painted by the painting contractor to <br />match the wall color. <br />10250-1 <br />
