DIVISION 15 <br />MECHANICAL PERFORMANCE SPECIFICATION <br />PLUMBING <br />1.01 WORK INCLUDED <br />A. The Plumbing Contractor shall furnish all labor, fixtures, equipment, materials and <br />other items as required to provide a complete plumbing system as herein listed <br />and shown on drawings. <br />1.02 PERMITS AND CODES <br />A. Comply with the Minnesota State Building and Plumbing Code. <br />1.03 1'BSTS <br />A. All plumbing work shall be inspected, tested and approved by local plumbing <br />inspector. <br />1.04 HANGERS AND SUPPORTS <br />A. Furnish and install pipe hangers and supports for all lines as required for proper <br />support. Maximum spacing at 20' o.c.. <br />1.05 DISINFECTING REQUIREMENT <br />A. Prior to use, disinfect water supply piping per MHD recommendation. <br />1.06 OUTSIDE UTILITIES <br />A. Plumbing contractor shall connect to Owners well and septic system. <br />1.07 PIPING <br />A. Waste & Vent: P.V.C. schedule #40 and standard weight cast iron or steel <br />galvanized #40 pipe. <br />B. Water lines: Type M copper with soldered joints. <br />C. Under floor: Type K copper. <br />D. Gas piping: Schedule #40 black steel pipe; provide shutoff cock @ each appliance. <br />1.08 CLEANOUT FITTINGS <br />A. Install as required by Code; adjustable bronze frame and cover. <br />1.09 FLOOR DRAINS <br />15-1 <br />
