Sunday, December 15, 2013, 12:00 noon — 4:00 p.m. <br />Santa will be there from 1:00 — 3:00 p.m. Everyone that brings a toy donation will receive a 50% <br />off Green Fee Pass. Attached to the Weekly Update is a Flyer for the 5'' Annual Links at <br />Northfork Toy Drive. <br />Meeting re Old Municipal Center. A meeting of the Old Municipal Center Study Group is <br />scheduled for Monday, December 16, beginning at 6:00 p.m. in the Lake Itasca room. As was <br />mentioned at the Council work session, this meeting has been posted — Councilmembers are <br />welcome to attend. <br />Council Update <br />Ramsey Rotary. The Ramsey Rotary received a special mention/thank you from the Anoka Area <br />Chamber of Commerce for its participation in the Toys for Joy Program. The Chamber held a <br />membership luncheon to benefit the Toys for Joy Program. Over 100 Chamber members attended. <br />The Ramsey Rotary presented a check for $750 plus the promise of an additional $400 from their <br />members. Mr. Turok noted this was the best Toys for Joy luncheon the Chamber has had. <br />Granny's Closet. A reminder again that there is a drop box at City Hall, to collect items for <br />Granny's closet. It's a non - profit organization that collects clothing, toiletries, bedding, etc. <br />(new /unwrapped) for low income seniors in the Anoka County area. They help between 400 and <br />800 seniors. The box will be picked up on December 23. <br />
