<br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br />COUNTY OF ANOKA <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City <br />th <br />of Ramsey, Anoka County, Minnesota, was duly called and held at the City Hall on the 10 day <br />of December, 2013, at 7:00 p.m. <br /> <br />The following members were present: <br /> <br /> Mayor Strommen, Councilmembers Backous, Johns, Kuzma, LeTourneau, Riley, and <br /> Tossey <br /> <br />And the following were absent: <br /> <br /> None <br /> <br />Councilmember LeTourneau introduced the following resolution, the reading of which was <br />dispensed with by unanimous consent, and moved its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #13-12-216 <br /> <br />DECERTIFYING TAX INCREMENT <br />FINANCING DISTRICT NO. 2 AND RETURNING <br />EXCESS TAX INCREMENTS TO OTHER TAXING JURISDICTIONS <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> the city of Ramsey (the “City”) has heretofore created Tax Increment <br />Financing District No. 2 (the “Tax Increment District”); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> the developments to be undertaken within the Tax Increment District as set <br />forth in the tax increment financing plans have been completed and the final tax increment payment <br />has been made or decertification of the Tax Increment District is required pursuant to law. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council (the “Council”) of the <br />City of Ramsey, Minnesota (the “City”) as follows: <br /> <br /> <br />1.The City Council hereby finds, declares and determines to decertify Tax Increment <br />Financing District No. 2 effective as of December 31, 2013 <br /> <br /> <br />2.Any tax increments collected from Tax Increment Financing District No. 2 shall be <br />returned to the County Auditor of Anoka County for distribution to the affected tax <br />jurisdictions in accordance with Minnesota Statutes, Section 469.176, subdivision 2. <br /> <br /> <br />
