<br />Commissioner Riley introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #HRA-13-12-219 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NOT TO WAIVE STATUATORY TORT LIMITS FOR LMCIT <br />LIABILITY COVERAGE <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> city staff has reviewed the impacts of waiving and not-waiving statutory <br /> <br />tort limits for liability insurance with the League of Minnesota Cities Insurance Trust; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br />the HRA has determined it is in the best interest of the City to not waive the <br /> <br />statutory tort limits for liability insurance with LMCIT. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSING AND REDEVELOPMENT <br />AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF <br />MINNESOTA: <br /> <br />1) That the HRA of the City of Ramsey does not waive the statutory tort limits for LMCIT <br />liability coverage. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Commissioner, <br />LeTourneau and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br /> Chairperson Backous <br /> Commissioner Riley <br /> Commissioner LeTourneau <br /> Commissioner Johns <br /> Commissioner Kuzma <br /> Commissioner Strommen <br /> Commissioner Tossey <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br /> None <br /> <br />and the following abstained: <br /> <br /> None <br /> <br />and the following were absent: <br /> <br /> None <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />
