<br />Councilmember LeTourneau introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #13-12-230 <br /> <br /> <br />RESOLUTION TO RECLASSIFY FOUR CITY POSITIONS <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br />on May 28, 2013; the City Council adopted the three-year strategic plan; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br />the strategic plan identified the City Council’s desire to maintain an effective <br />organization and to reclassify jobs in an effort to retain employees; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br />staff identified five position, four of which are to be addressed at this time; <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br />staff recommends reclassifying the following positions: 1) reclassify the <br />current Planning Division Secretary to Community Development Assistant; 2) reclassify the <br />current Permit Technician to Building Inspection Technician 3) reclassify the current Associate <br />Planner/Environmental Coordinator to City Planner and 4) reclassify one Streets Maintenance <br />Worker (Lonny Lofgren), all effective January 1, 2014. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE I.T. RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br /> <br />1) Motion to adopt a resolution to 1) reclassify the current Planning Division Secretary to <br />Community Development Assistant; 2) reclassify the current Permit Technician to <br />Building Inspection Technician 3) reclassify the current Associate <br />Planner/Environmental Coordinator to City Planner and 4) reclassify one Streets <br />Maintenance Worker (Lonny Lofgren), all effective January 1, 2014. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Riley, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br /> Mayor Strommen <br /> Councilmember LeTourneau <br /> Councilmember Riley <br /> Councilmember Backous <br /> Councilmember Johns <br /> Councilmember Kuzma <br /> Councilmember Tossey <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br /> None <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />
