INTRODUCTION OF AN ORDINANCE AMENDING <br />CHAPTER 9 OF THE CITY CODE RELATING TO <br />ADULT USE AND OTHER PROVISIONS <br />AFFECTING LAND USE <br /> By: David R. Hartley, City Administrator <br /> <br />CASE <br /> <br />Background: <br /> <br />On May 29, 1990, the City Council and the Planning and Zoning Commission held a public <br />hearing for the purpose of learning about the secondary effects of adult uses within the City of <br />Ramsey. Following that public heating, City Staff and Consultants were directed to prepare a <br />study which would recommend to the City Council and the Planning and Zoning Commission <br />appropriate changes if any in City Ordinances and/or procedures which would mitigate the negative <br />impact of adult uses within the City of Ramsey. <br /> <br />On October 9, 1990, the City Council and the Planning and Zoning Commission held a heating to <br />receive the aforementioned report and consider proposed amendments to Chapter 9, the Zoning <br />Chapter of the City Code. <br /> <br />On October 22, 1990, at 7:30 p.m. the Planning and Zoning Commission will meet to consider its <br />recommendation to the City Council with regard to adult use and other provisions of the Zoning <br />Chapter of the City Code. <br /> <br />Council Action: <br /> <br />Receive report from Planning & Zoning Commission. <br /> <br />Review Checklist: <br /> <br />City Administrator <br />City Attorney <br />Zoning Administrator <br /> <br />CC: 10/23/90 <br /> <br /> <br />
