HRA BUSINESS <br />5.01: Adopt Resolution #13 -11 -210 Approving of COR TWO NORTHSTAR; Case of <br />Sophia- Ramsey LLC <br />Deputy Executive Director Gladhill reviewed the staff report and presented the final plat for <br />COR TWO NORTHSTAR, which was originally part of the COR TWO plat approved on <br />August 13, 2012. He explained the proposed Lots 1 and 2 (existing lots) were not included in the <br />current version of COR TWO, as Sophia- Ramsey chose not to proceed at that time due to <br />financing and tax purposes. Sophia - Ramsey, LLC has now submitted a plat to complete the <br />remainder of the original COR TWO plat. It was noted that Outlots A and B are owned by the <br />HRA. Staff recommends the HRA adopt a resolution granting Final Plat approval of COR TWO <br />NORTHSTAR contingent upon correction to the drainage and utility easement description to <br />remove any encroachment of Coborn's building. <br />Motion by Commissioner Strommen, seconded by Commissioner Riley, to adopt Resolution <br />#HRA -13 -11 -210, Granting Final Plat Approval to COR TWO NORTHSTAR, contingent upon <br />correction to the drainage and utility easement description to remove any encroachment of <br />Coborn's building. <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Vice Chairperson LeTourneau, Commissioners Strommen, Riley, <br />Johns, Kuzma, and Tossey. Voting No: None. Absent: Chairperson Backous. <br />5.02: Consider Sale of North Commons Residential Lots 1 -4, Block 1, COR III (Portions <br />were closed to the public) <br />HRA Executive Director Ulrich reviewed the staff report and indicated the lots have been <br />improved and are available for sale. He advised that under Minnesota Statutes, the meeting can <br />move into closed session to discuss confidential or non - public appraisal data and acquisition <br />negotiations. He indicated closed session discussion will relate to property sale of North <br />Commons Residential Lots 1 -4, Block 1, COR III. The closed session will be tape recorded and <br />that tape will be maintained for a period of eight years. <br />Motion by Commissioner Tossey, seconded by Commissioner Riley, to move to Closed Session <br />to discuss acquisition negotiations. <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Vice Chairperson LeTourneau, Commissioners Tossey, Riley, <br />Johns, Kuzma, and Strommen. Voting No: None.
