MEMORANDUM <br /> <br />TO: City Council <br /> <br />Sandra Ashley, Finance Officer <br /> <br />DATE: <br /> <br />November 1, 1990 <br /> <br />SUBJECT: INSURANCE CLAIM <br /> <br />At the September 10, 1990 council meeting an invoice from Phalen- <br />Kimball for $3,000.00 was discussed. This invoice was for <br />replacement of the air conditioning compressor (10 hp) that burned <br />out due to a power failure on July 2, 1990. At that time staff <br />advised a claim had been filed with our insurance carrier. <br /> <br />Today the City received a check from The Hartford Steam Boiler <br />Inspection and Insurance Company. The amount of the check is <br />$2,750.00, and this check, plus a $250.00 deductible, totals the <br />$3,000.00 claim we submitted. <br /> <br />This claim was processed with the assistance of Michael Hadtrath, <br />the City's Insurance Agent of Record. <br /> <br /> <br />
