Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> RESOLUTION #90-11- <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE INSTALLATION OF OUTSIDE ELECTRIC <br />RECEPTACLES AND ENGINE BLOCK HEATERS IN FOUR CITY STAFF <br />VEItlCLES <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City maintains a fleet of staff vehicles which must start and function in <br />even the coldest weather on a dependable basis to provide the public with reliable service from the <br />Building Inspection Department and the City Assessor; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, in previous years said staff vehicles were parked inside the Fire <br />Department garage facility overnight to insure starting in cold weather; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, past years practices are no longer an option since the development of City <br />Fire Department and its associated equipment occupying the fire garage facility. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1 ) That the City Council authorizes the expenditure of $1,200.00 to be appropriated from the <br /> parking lot overlay project to cover the installation of four outside electrical outlets and four <br /> staff vehicle engine block heaters. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br /> and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br />and the following abstained: <br />and the following were absent: <br /> <br />whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council this <br />the 27th day of November, 1990. <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />Mayor <br /> <br />City Administrator <br /> <br /> <br />
