MEMBERSHIP PRIVILEGES <br /> <br />Every member of the Association shall be entitled to vote and enjoy the benefits and all <br />privileges of the Association. <br /> <br />SECTION 4. <br /> <br />MEMBERSHIP TERMINATION <br /> <br />Membership in the Association shall cease if the member is not vested and resigns, or <br />is expelled from the Ramsey Fire Department. <br /> <br />Resignation from Fire Department membership as a retired, deferred or disability <br />pensioner as provided in these By-laws does not terminate membership in the <br />Association. <br /> <br />SECTION §. STATE FIREMEN'S BENEFIT ASSOCIATION <br /> <br />As a condition of acceptance and continued membership in this Association, members <br />who are active members of the Ramsey Fire Department agree to membership in the <br />Volunteer Firemen's Benefit Association of Minnesota and to authorize a deduction from <br />the member's Fire Department,Association dues for payment of dues prescribed by the <br />State Association. Benefits payable by the State Association are subject to its <br />applicable rules and are in addition to any benefits payable by the Ramsey Volunteer <br />Firefighter's Relief Association. <br /> <br />SECTION 6. PENALTY FOR FRAUD <br /> <br />Any member who shall be charged with imposing upon this Association by feigning <br />sickness or injury for the purpose of defrauding the same shall be given a hearing by <br />the Board of Trustees, and upon recommendation by the Board of Trustees may be <br />expelled by a two-thirds vote of membership of the Association present and voting <br />following a hearing before the membership on the Board's recommendation. <br /> <br />RELIEF ASSN.
