The Permit Holder shall at all times have <br />a sufficient supply of fire extinguishers located throughout <br />the operation in conformance with the Uniform Fire Code. <br /> <br />Fire Lanes. The Permit Holder shall properly construct and <br />maintain all season paved fire lanes or properly pave and <br />maintain drives and clearances to serve as fire lanes from the <br />street side of the property to the back of the property. <br /> <br />Ash Cooling. A cooling container shall be used for cooling <br />ash and extraneous metals extracted from the melt furnace. <br />Said container shall be leakproof, fire proof, and equipped <br />with an enclosure or lid to prevent the possibility of hot <br />sparks or embers leaving the container and possibly starting <br />a structure or grass fire. <br /> <br />Contingency Action Plan. The Owner or operator must prepare <br />and maintain a contingency action plan for the aluminum <br />processing facility. The plan must discuss what specific <br />actions will be taken if a fire, spill or release occurs at <br />the facility and what back-up system exists if portions of the <br />facility are closed for any period of time. The plan must <br />also identify a responsible contact person or persons for the <br />facility who could be reached 24 hours a day in the event of <br />a fire, spill, release or other serious problem along with <br />their home addresses and phone numbers. <br /> <br />Hours of Operation. The Permit Holder may conduct his <br />receiving operations within the hours of 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 <br />p.m., Monday through Saturday, and may conduct aluminum melt <br />operations 24 hours a day, seven days a week unless the <br />operations present a nuisance or disturb neighboring land <br />uses. The City Council may limit hours of operation to <br />protect neighboring land uses. <br /> <br />Trailer/Vehicle Storaqe. The use of trailers, trunks or <br />vehicles for long-term storage (longer than 10 consecutive <br />days) is prohibited. All vehicles and trailers on site must <br />bear a current license, be registered, and must be road <br />worthy. <br /> <br />Structures. The placement, design, and construction of new <br />structures or additions to existing structures shall comply <br />with city Code Parts 170.015F, 170.015G and 170.016I and <br />170.017, applicable state codes and OSHA requirements. <br /> <br />Outside Storaqe. Ail outside storage is prohibited in <br />accordance with Section 170.016I of City Code. <br /> <br /> <br />
