Attached is a copy of the 1990 Rates and Charges Schedule. As the SAC fee has <br />increased from $600.00 to $650.00 effective January 1, 1991, the attached Rates and <br />Charges Schedule has been changed accordingly. <br /> <br />Observations: <br /> <br />It should be noted that rates and charges for the Utility District are established by <br />ordinance, and a rate study has not been completed since the inception of the district. This <br />study should be completed as quickly as possible to provide meaningful information as to <br />the District's ability to break even financially. In addition, the new Zoning Ordinance will <br />impact the escrow requirements for certain land use activities. <br /> <br />Recommendation: <br /> <br />Staff recommends the 1990 Rates and Charges Schedule be reviewed as part of the 1991 <br />budget review as planned by Council. To allow day-to-day functioning, staff further <br />recommends that by motion the Council adopt the current Rates and Charges Schedule for <br />application until this review is completed. <br /> <br />Council Action: <br /> <br />Motion to adopt/not adopt the attached Schedule of Rates and Charges until further action is <br />taken by the Council. <br /> <br />Review Checklist: <br /> <br />Finance Officer <br /> <br />CC: 01/08/91 <br /> <br /> <br />
