Councilmember <br />moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />introduced the following resolution and <br /> <br />RESOLUTION ~91-01- <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING PARTIAL PAYMENT FOR VOLK SEWER & WATER, INC. <br />(PROJECT 89-15) <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Ramsey approved this <br />project on August 14, 1990; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Ramsey adopted <br />Resolution #90-08-261 awarding the bid to Volk Sewer & Water, !nc. <br />for the construction of Improvement Project 89-15; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Consulting Engineer Pete Raatikka of Hakanson <br />Anderson Associates, Inc. recommended partial payment to Volk Sewer <br />& Water, Inc. in the amount of $15,190.50. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br /> 1) That the City Council hereby authorizes partial payment <br />to Volk Sewer & Water, Inc. for the construction of Improvement <br />Project 89-15 in the amount of $15,190.50. <br /> <br /> 2) That the City Council hereby authorizes the Mayor or City <br />Administrator to sign the release form for this partial payment. <br /> <br /> 3) That the total amount of this partial payment is not <br />included in Resolution #91-01- approving payment of the bills <br />for the month of January, 1991. <br /> <br /> 4) That the City of Ramsey Finance Department be provided <br />a signed copy of this resolution. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly <br />seconded by Councilmember and upon vote being taken <br />thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />and the following abstained: <br /> <br />and the following were absent: <br /> <br />whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by <br />the Ramsey city Council this 22nd day of January, 1991. <br /> <br /> <br />
