Councilmember introduce the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION g91-02- <br /> <br />RESOLUTION PROCLAIMING THE WEEK OF MARCH 3 - 10, 1991 AS <br />VOLUNTEERS OF AMERICA WEEK <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Volunteers of America, one of this nation's and Minnesota's largest human <br />service organizations, has been helping people in need for nearly 95 years; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Volunteers of America Week is scheduled for March 3 - 10, 1991 which <br />commemorates its founding on March 8, 1896. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) <br /> <br />That the City Council of the City of Ramsey hereby proclaims the week of March 3 - 10, <br />1991 as Volunteers of America Week in Ramsey. <br /> <br />The motion for adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br /> and upon vote being taken thereon, the following vote in favor thereof: <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />and the following abstained: <br /> <br />and the following were absent: <br /> <br />whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council this <br />the 27th day of February, 1991. <br /> <br /> <br />
