I CASE <br /> <br />I <br />! <br />I <br /> <br /> CONSIDER ADOPTION OF ORDINANCE CONVEYING <br />201 STRIP OF L~NDWITHIN FLINTWOOD HILLS 5TH ADDITION <br /> AND CONSIDER CITY SIGNING AS AN OWNER ON THE <br /> FLINTWOOD HILLS 5TH ADDITION PLAT <br /> <br />BY: William K. Goodrich, city Attorney <br /> <br />Background: <br /> <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />i <br />I <br />I <br /> <br />On February 27, 1991, you introduced an Ordinance which would allow <br />the City to convey a 20' strip of land to N.D.H., Inc., the <br />developer of Flintwood Hills 5th Addition. That Ordinance is now <br />presented to you for final consideration and adoption. <br /> <br />Because the above referenced Ordinance will not become effective <br />until about April 15, 1991, the 'developer is asking the city to <br />sign on the Plat as an owner of the 20' parcel so that the plat can <br />be recorded right away. I see no harm to the City in accommodating <br />this request. When the ordinance becomes effective, we will then <br />convey this 20' strip to the developer. <br /> <br />STAFF RECOMMENDATION: <br /> <br />Adopt Ordinance permitting the 20' conveyance and authorize the <br />Mayor and city Administrator to sign the Plat on behalf of the <br />City. <br /> <br />COUNCIL ACTION: <br /> <br />Motion to approve Ordinance 91- which is an Ordinance <br />permitting the conveyance of a 20' strip of land owned by the City <br />to N.D.H., Inc., developer of Flintwood Hills 5th Addition. <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />Motion to authorize the Mayor and city Administrator to execute on <br />behalf of the City the Plat of Flintwood Hills 5th Addition. <br /> <br />Review Checklist: <br /> <br />city Attorney <br />city Administrator <br />City Engineer <br /> <br /> <br />
