HELD MARCH 22, 1991 <br /> <br />Councilmembers Beyer, Hardin and Peterson make the following <br />recommendations to Council: <br /> <br />1) That Council approve payment in the amount of Two Thousand <br />Five Hundred Seventy Six and 25/100 Dollars ($2,576.25) to the <br />Anoka Police Department for the 1990~1991 Ramsey Students in the <br />Drug Awareness Resistance Education or !D.A.R.E. program. This <br />expenditure is funded in the 1991 General Fund adopted budget. <br /> <br />2) That council approve payment in the amount of Four Thousand <br />Five Hundred Seven aud No/100 Dollars ($4,507.00) to the North <br />Metro Development Association and Two Thousand Five Hundred <br />Fifty-Three and No/100 ($2,553.00) to the North Metro Mayors <br />Association for 1991 dues as required by joint powers agreements <br />signed in 1988 and 1989 respectively. <br /> <br />3) That council direct the Acting City Administrator to notify the <br />North Metro Development Association and the North Metro Mayors <br />Association that the City of Ramsey may withdraw from these <br />agreements effective January 1, 1992 and is therefore giving notice <br />as required by these agreements. <br /> <br />4) The council not subscribe to the MAMA Labor Relations <br />Subscriber Service at an annual rate of Two Thousand Six Hundred <br />and No/100 Dollars, but instead authorize the City Administrator <br />and/or Personnel Coordinator to retain the services of a labor <br />relations/human resources specialist on an as needed basis with a <br />budget not to exceed One Thousand and No/100 Dollars ($1,000.00) <br />for calendar year 1991. The 1991 adopted budget included Five <br />Thousand and No/100 Dollars ($5,000.00) for labor negotiation <br />services, and the $1,000.00 referred to above is to be allocated from <br />this budget. <br /> <br />Council Action: <br /> <br />Motion to adopt/not adopt the recommendations of the Budget <br />Committee as outlined in this report dated March 22, 1991. <br /> <br /> <br />
