HELD MARCH 22, 1991 Councilmembers Beyer, Hardin and Peterson make the following recommendations to Council: 1) That Council approve payment in the amount of Two Thousand Five Hundred Seventy Six and 25/100 Dollars ($2,576.25) to the Anoka Police Department for the 1990~1991 Ramsey Students in the Drug Awareness Resistance Education or !D.A.R.E. program. This expenditure is funded in the 1991 General Fund adopted budget. 2) That council approve payment in the amount of Four Thousand Five Hundred Seven aud No/100 Dollars ($4,507.00) to the North Metro Development Association and Two Thousand Five Hundred Fifty-Three and No/100 ($2,553.00) to the North Metro Mayors Association for 1991 dues as required by joint powers agreements signed in 1988 and 1989 respectively. 3) That council direct the Acting City Administrator to notify the North Metro Development Association and the North Metro Mayors Association that the City of Ramsey may withdraw from these agreements effective January 1, 1992 and is therefore giving notice as required by these agreements. 4) The council not subscribe to the MAMA Labor Relations Subscriber Service at an annual rate of Two Thousand Six Hundred and No/100 Dollars, but instead authorize the City Administrator and/or Personnel Coordinator to retain the services of a labor relations/human resources specialist on an as needed basis with a budget not to exceed One Thousand and No/100 Dollars ($1,000.00) for calendar year 1991. The 1991 adopted budget included Five Thousand and No/100 Dollars ($5,000.00) for labor negotiation services, and the $1,000.00 referred to above is to be allocated from this budget. Council Action: Motion to adopt/not adopt the recommendations of the Budget Committee as outlined in this report dated March 22, 1991.
