I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br />I <br /> ! <br /> I <br /> <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> <br />Councilmember <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION #91-03- <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING SOLICITATION OF <br />CRACK FILLING PROGRAM <br /> <br />introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />BIDS FOR 1991 STREET <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City desires to undertake a 1991 street maintenance program which <br />consists of sealcoating; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, maximum benefit from such sealcoating is obtained only when significant <br />bituminous cracks are properly sealed ahead of the sealcoating; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City has limited equipment to perform the required crack sealing; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City has received quality crack sealing service in the past through the <br />utilization of contract services for this service. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) That the City Engineer be authorized to prepare plans and specifications for the crack filling <br /> of streets identified for the 1991 street maintenance program. <br /> <br />2) That the City Engineer be authorized to advertise and solicit competitive bids for said crack <br /> filling project. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br /> and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br />and the following abstained: <br />and the following were absent: <br /> <br />whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council on <br />this the 26th day of March, 1991. <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />Mayor <br /> <br />City Administrator <br /> <br /> <br />
