Goodrich, City Attorney <br /> <br />City Councilmembers <br /> <br />FROM: <br /> <br />Sandra Ashley Helling, Finance Officer <br /> <br />DATE: <br /> <br />March 21, 1991 <br /> <br />SUBJECT: <br /> <br />WMMI ROYALTY PAYMENT - REVENUE TO <br />EXPENDABLE LANDFILL TRUST FUND <br /> <br />Attached is a City recap of the revenue detail submitted by WMMI <br />for the Anoka Regional Sanitary Landfill. This recaps includes <br />payments received for 1990 and 1991 to date (through cash receipts <br />of 03/19/91). <br /> <br />As this recap shows, WMMI has deducted a total of $683,492 from <br />their gross revenue for the "Additional Closure/Post Closure Fee" <br />which is under discussion. WMMI first began taking this deduction <br />for activity the month of January, 1990, and to date this deduction <br />has decreased royalty revenue to the City of Ramsey by $68,349. <br /> <br />This deduction reduces income to the Expendable Landfill Trust <br />Fund, but has no impact on the Landfill Tipping Fee Fund. <br /> <br /> <br />
