C

APR ? 1991

April 13,1991

Mr. Charles Klein
5551 164th Lane
Ramsey
Minnesota 55303

Dear Mr. Klein:

The Board of Rum River Hills has received your
letter/petition of April 8,1991 and are aware of your
comments. Being that your name is first On the list I would
appreciate it if you will be sure the other homeowners
receive a copy of our reply.

In our initial preconstruction talks with the City a very
large factor in developing the course was to provide the
residents of Ramsey with a recreational facility. We realize
that the homeowners abutting the course certainly had their
share of inconveniences during the construction, and we
appreciated their patience. Now that the course is
established we also want to keep dialogue open between the
Board and homeowners to insure that problems remain at a
minimum.

To answer your complaints specifically:

1) We certainly do not condone trespassing onto private
property, however I can assure you unless you put an
impassable barrier you still may get some golfers in
your yard trying to retrieve their shots.

2) There is a portable restroom approximately 50 yards
from 15th hole and we would hope, as you do,
the golfers use the facility. Littering from the
patrons can hopefully be reduced by placing more
waste containers along the tee and green. Profane
language cannot be controlled and a chain link fence
is not the answer to that problem.

that
