Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #91-04-15 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION PLACING A BOUNTY ON THE DESTRUCTION OF POCKET <br />GOPHERS <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Anoka County Board has the authority to place a bounty on the <br />destruction of pocket gophers in the County of Anoka pursuant to Minnesota Statutes 348.12 and <br />348.13; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Anoka County Board desires to place a bounty of $.75 per pocket <br />gopher for the destruction of pocket gophers in those municipalities or townships that elect to pay <br />the individual at least $.75 per pocket gopher and where said municipality or township will certify <br />to the County the number of pocket gophers destroyed by each individual; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Anoka County Board, on April 9, 1991, adopted Resolution #91-47 <br />placing a bounty on the destruction of pocket gophers in the amount of $.75 per pocket gopher. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) <br /> <br />That Anoka County will reimburse $.75 per pocket gopher to the City of Ramsey in <br />accordance with Minnesota Statutes 348.12 and 348.13 and that the City of Ramsey shall <br />certify to the County the number of pocket gophers destroyed by each individual. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br /> and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />and the following abstained: <br /> <br />and the following were absent: <br /> <br />whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council this <br />the 23rd day of April, 1991. <br /> <br /> <br />
