I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />! <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />! <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br /> <br />Councilmember <br /> <br />introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #91-05- <br /> <br />RESOLUTION <br />PROMOTION <br />JOHNSON <br /> <br />ENDING THE PROBATIONARY PERIOD FOLLOWING A <br />FOR RECEPTIONIST/NETWORK SUPPORT KATHLEEN <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Kathleen Johnson began employment at the City of Ramsey on February 1, <br />1988 in the position of Receptionist for Administrative Services in salary grade 1; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Ms. Johnson was promoted to Receptionist/Network Support in salary <br />grade 1.5 on September 22, 1990, and has a current annual salary of $18,686; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the AFSCME bargaining unit, of which Ms. Johnson is a member, states <br />that all promoted employees shall serve a six-month probationary period; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Administrative Coordinator Penny Ott, Ms. Johnson's immediate <br />supervisor, completed a performance appraisal for Ms. Johnson, and she and Finance Officer and <br />Acting City Administrator Sandra Ashley Helling recommend that the probationary period has been <br />successfully completed effective March 22, 1991; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, staff further recommends that Ms. Johnson's annual salary increase to <br />$18,779, which is the minimum for salary grade 1.5, effective March 22, 1991; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Personnel Committee, at their April 18, 1991 meeting, agreed with the <br />recommendation of staff to end the probationary period for Ms. Johnson and increase her annual <br />salary to $18,779 effective March 22, 1991; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Ramsey City Council at their April 23, 1991 meeting approved the <br />recommendation of the Personnel Committee to end the probationary period for Ms. Johnson and <br />increase her annual salary to $18,779 effective March 22, 1991. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) <br /> <br />That the City Council of the City of Ramsey confm-ns the recommendation of the Personnel <br />Committee to end the probationary period following the promotion to Receptionist/Network <br />Support for Kathleen Johnson and increase her annual salary to $18,779 effective March <br />22, 1991. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by <br />Councilmember and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor <br />, rlcceof. <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br />and the following abstained: <br />and the following were absent: <br /> <br />whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council this <br />the 14th day of May, 1991. <br /> <br />?O <br /> <br /> <br />
