I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />i <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br /> <br />Councilmember <br /> <br />introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION ~)1-05- <br /> <br />RESOLUTION <br />CLUB FOR <br />INDIVIDUALS <br /> <br />AUTHORIZING USE OF CITY TRUCK BY RAMSEY LIONS <br />SURPLUS FOOD DISTRIBUTION TO LOW INCOME <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Ramsey Lions Club has in past years received permission to use a City <br />truck for surplus food distribution to low income individuals; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Ramsey Lions Club is again requesting use of a City truck to be driven <br />by Merle Mevissen, Public Works Supervisor and Lions Club member, on the following dates: <br /> <br />Saturday, May 18, 1991 <br />Saturday, September 21, 1991 <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the food will be picked up at the Anoka Metro Regional Treatment Center <br />and will be delivered to the Advent Lutheran Church in Anoka. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) <br /> <br />That the Ramsey City Council hereby approves the request of the Ramsey Lions Club and <br />authorizes the use of a City truck to be driven by Merle Mevissen, Public Works <br />Supervisor, for surplus food distribution to low income individuals on Saturday, May 18, <br />1991 and Saturday, September 21, 1991. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br /> and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />and the following abstained: <br /> <br />and the following were absent: <br /> <br />whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council this <br />the 14th day of May, 1991. <br /> <br /> <br />
