Councilmember <br /> <br />introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> RESOLUTION #91-05- <br /> <br />RESOLUTION ENDING THE PROBATIONARY PERIOD FOR SENIOR <br />ENGINEERING TECHNICIAN DONALD JOHNSON <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Donald Johnson began employment for the City of Ramsey on November <br />14, 1990, as Senior Engineering Technician in the Engineering Department in salary grade 3.5 <br />with an annual salary of $22,642; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, City Engineer Steven Jankowski, Mr. Johnson's immediate supervisor, has <br />given a satisfactory employee performance appraisal for Mr. Johnson and recommended retaining <br />Mr. Johnson at the City of Ramsey as a regular full-time employee; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the probationary period has been successfully completed and, as Mr. <br />Johnson was hired at the six-month rate of salary grade 3.5, there was no salary increase for <br />completion of the six-month probationary period; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Personnel Committee at their May 14, 1991 meeting agreed with the <br />recommendation of staff to retain Mr. Johnson as a regular full-time employee effective May 14, <br />1991. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) <br /> <br />That the City Council of the City of Ramsey confm:ns the recommendation of the Personnel <br />Committee to end the probationary period for Donald Johnson and change in status to full- <br />time regular employee effective May 14, 1991. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by <br />Councilmember and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />and the following abstained: <br /> <br />and the following were absent: <br /> <br />whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey CiD, Council this <br />the 28th day of May, 1991. <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />Mayor <br /> <br />City Administrator <br /> <br /> <br />
