I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I CASE ADOPT ORDINANCE REZONING THE PROPOSED PLAT OF HUNTER'S RIDGE (aka CARR ADDITION) FROM R-1 RURAL RESIDENTIAL TO PLANNED UNIT DEVELOPMENT (PUD); CASE OF IRV CARR By: Zoning Administrator Sylvia Frolik Background: On December 19, 1989, City Council adopted Findings of Fact g0268 and introduced an ordinance to rezone the proposed plat of Hunter's Ridge (aka Carr Addition) to Planned Unit Development. Formal adoption of the rezoning ordinance has been held back in order that it could be acted upon coincidental with final plat approval of Hunter's Ridge. The unusual time delay on the plat is a result of the developers efforts to follow the City's direction and acquire the necessary property to provide a street outlet from the plat to County Road #83. The following items are enclosed for your information: a) b) c) d) e) Site location map Public hearing minutes dated December 5, 1989 Planning and Zoning Commission meeting minutes dated December 7, 1989 City Council meeting minutes dated December 19, 1989 Findings of Fact ~268 Proposed ordinance Observations: On December 5, 1989, the Planning and Zoning Commission conducted a public hearing regarding the request for rezoning to Planned Unit Development. On December 7, 1989, the Planning and Zoning Commission recommended that City Council adopt the proposed findings of fact and approve the request for rezoning. On December 19, 1989, the City Council adopted Findings of Fact #0268 and introduced the proposed ordinance to rezone Can: Addition to Planned Unit Development. Recommendation: The ordinance is ehgible for adoption at this time.
