COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT (CDBG) <br /> ALLOCATION TO SOCIAL SERVICE AGENCIES <br /> By: Zoning Administrator Sylvia Frolik <br /> <br />Background: <br /> <br />As you recall, City Council allocated $10,000 in 1990/1991 CDBG funds for distribution to social <br />service agencies. <br /> <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br /> <br />Observations: <br /> <br />I have advertised and mailed notices for applications for the CDBG funds. I have set a deadline of <br />5:00 p.m. on July 12, 1991 to submit applications. Enclosed for your information is a copy of the <br />news release and the mailed notice to social service agencies. <br /> <br />Recommendation: <br /> <br />It is my recommendation that a subcommittee be appointed to review the applications and make a <br />recommendation to City Council. I would like to suggest that the subcommittee consist of two <br />councilmembers, the Zoning Administrator and the Finance Officer.
