Goodrich, City Attorney <br />James Gromberg, Project Manager <br /> <br />CASE <br /> <br />Background <br /> <br />On June 25, 1991 the City Council introduced an ordinance vacating the North 320 feet of Outlot <br />B, Countryside Estates. <br /> <br />On April 23, 1991 the City Attorney presented a case regarding the background of Outlot B, <br />Countryside Estates. Based on your April 23, 1991 action, the Planning and Zoning Commission <br />held a public hearing on June 3, 1991 regarding the proposed vacation. The Planning and Zoning <br />Commission recommended unanimously that this Outlot B be vacated. <br /> <br />MS 412.851 permits a City Council to vacate public grounds after a public hearing and upon a <br />finding by the Council that the vacation is in the public interest.
