Development Services Manager Gladhill presented the staff report stating the Council requested <br />the topic of home occupation be brought to a future Work Session. This was based on concerns <br />raised by residents as a result of previous home occupation reviews. Standards related to noise, <br />on- street parking and outside storage have been raised as potential policy questions to review. <br />He requested feedback from the Commission on these issues. <br />Commission Business <br />Chair Levine suggested traffic volume also be addressed. <br />Commissioner Field recommended safety issues, peace and enjoyment and aesthetics also be <br />reviewed. He requested staff provide the Commission with other cities home occupation code <br />prior to the February meeting. <br />Commissioner Bauer suggested the parking of commercial vehicles be discussed with caution as <br />the majority of these individuals leave the home for work and only park a vehicle in their <br />driveway. <br />Commissioner VanScoy asked that staff provide the Commission with further information on <br />which conditional uses were approved internally by staff and which required a full review by the <br />Planning Commission and City Council. <br />Development Services Manager Gladhill thanked the Commission for their feedback as this <br />would assist staff in pulling together proposed amendments to the City Code regarding home <br />occupation for the February meeting. <br />5.06: Staff Update <br />The Staff Update was noted. <br />5.07: Zoning Bulletins <br />Zoning Bulletins were noted. <br />6.
