I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #91-09- RESOLUTION GRANTING AN EXTENSION OF THE CONTRACT FOR CURBSIDE RECYCLING PICK-UP WITH ACE SOLID WASTE MANAGEMENT, INC. WHEREAS, the City of Ramsey is required to provide curbside recycling service for it's residents under the 1989 SCORE legislation; and WHEREAS, the City of Ramsey has received competitive bids from independent contractors for performing the Curbside Recycling Service; and WHEREAS, the contract will expire on September 30, 1991; and WHEREAS, the City Council approved the contract by motion at it's February 27, 1991 meeting; and WHEREAS, the City Council at it's June 25, 1991 meeting authorized by motion to extend the current contract with Ace Solid Waste Management, Inc. at the contracted price until July 1, 1992 NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) That the Mayor and City Administrator are hereby authorized and directed to amend the contract with Ace Solid Waste Management, Inc. with an extension of the completion date of July 1, 1992. 2 ) The extended contract shall be under the same terms of the contract approved at the February 27, 1991 City Council Meeting. The motion of the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember and upon vote being taken thereon, the following in favor thereof: and the following voted against the same: and the following abstained: and the following were absent: whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by.the Ramsey City Council this the 24th day of September, 1991.
