Councilmember <br />moved for its adoption <br /> <br />introduced the following resolution and <br /> <br />~E$OLUTION ~91-10-XX <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING 1991 BUDGET AMENDMENT ~2 <br /> FOR TH~ PURPOSE OF A/~LOCATING FUNDS DONATED <br /> BY THE ~AMSEY LIONS CLUB <br /> <br /> WHEREAB, at the regular Council meeting of May 28, 1991, a Resolution <br />Thanking the Ramsey Lions Club For Donation of Council Chamber Chairs, #91-05-106, <br />was adopted; and <br /> <br /> WHER~ due to this donation, the City ordered and has now received thirteen <br />(13) Ergon II Management Chairs at a price of $340.28 each for a total purchase in <br />the amount of $4,423.64; and <br /> <br /> WHEP, EA~ fixed asset numbers 01382 - 01394 have been assigned for the purpose <br />of identifying the chairs as the property of the City of Ramsey and for recording <br />within the City's General Fixed Assets Account Group; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS the City issued cash receipt #29337 on September 24, 1991 to the <br />Ramsey Lions Club confirming receipt of their donation in the amount of $4,000.00; <br />and <br /> <br /> WHEREA~ the capital expenditure exceeds the donation by the sum of $423.64 <br />for which funds are available in the 1991 General Fund Budget under the Cost Center <br />#1130 or Administration; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS the City's 1991 budgeted revenue and expenditures should be <br />increased to recognize this donation, expenditure and reclassification of funding; <br />and <br /> <br /> WHEREA~ this budget amendment does not increase or decrease the City's total <br />1991 General Fund Budget. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY TH]: CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, <br />ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) That the Finance Officer of the City of Ramsey be instructed to enter this <br />Budget Amendment ~2 to the City of Ramsey's Financial Systems to cause the <br />following budget amendment to be reflected in the City's financial records: <br /> Increase <br /> Account Number: Budget Account Description: (Decrease) <br /> <br />101-36330 <br />101-45560-001111 <br />101-45570-001130 <br /> <br />Revenue - Contribution <br />Capital - Council furniture <br />Capital - Admin. furniture <br /> <br />$4,000.00 <br />$4,424.00 <br /> ($424.O0) <br /> <br />The motion for adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by <br />Councilmember and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted <br />in favor thereof: <br /> <br />and the following voted against same: <br />and the following abstained: <br />and the following were absent: <br /> <br />whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City <br />Council this the 8th day of October, 1991 <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />Mayor <br /> <br />City Administrator <br /> <br /> <br />
