Councilmember and moved for its adoption introduced the following resolution RESOLUTION #91-10-XX RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE PAYMENT OF 1991 FIRE DEPARTMENT OFFICERS' SALARIES WHEREAS,the 1991 Adopted Budget included Officer's Pay as follows: Fire Chief Assistant Fire Chief Captain Safety Officer Training Officer 1991 Officer's Salary $250.00/year $200.00/year $200.00/year $100.00/¥ear $100.00/year WHEREAS, at the Budget Committee meeting of September 24, 1991, the Committee made a recommendation to Council that the 1991 Officer's Salaries provided for in the 1991 Adopted Budget be authorized for payment; and WHER~%S, the Budget Committee clarified this payment is in addition to the Officer's base pay (increments for training, drills and calls) and shall be accrued based upon the number of months served; and WHEREAS, the Budget Committee further recommends the determination as to whether this payment be made on a quarterly or annual basis shall be made by the City Administrator, Finance Officer and Fire Chief; and NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) The Ramsey City Council hereby authorizes the payment of 1991 Budgeted Fire Department Officer salaries as detailed in this resolution. 2) That this 1991 payment will be made either quarterly or annually, as determined by the City Administrator, Finance Officer and Fire Chief. The motion for adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: and the following voted against same: and the following abstained: and the following were absent: whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council this the 8th day of October, 1991.
