I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I Councilmember RESOLUTION STATUS FROM introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION g91-10- APPROVING THE ACCOUNTANT POSITION CHANGE FULL-TIME TO PART-TIME REGULAR IN WHEREAS, on August 27, 1991 the Personnel Committee requested that the Finance Officer review the staffing requirements of the Finance Department in light of the request of Accountant Jennifer Swendsen to return to work from an extended leave of absence on a part-time regular basis rather than the current full-time Accountant position; and WHEREAS, this change in status would result in a change in benefits received for holiday, vacation and sick time and would be based on the number of hours worked; and WHEREAS, the part-time position would no longer qualify for the City health and life insurance plan; and WHEREAS, Finance Officer Sandra Ashley Helling has reviewed the Finance Office staffing needs and recommends that Jennifer Swendsen's request to change the status of the Accountant position from full-time to pan-time regular be granted; and WHEREAS, City Administrator Ryan Schroeder is in agreement with the recommendation of the Finance Officer;, and WHEREAS, on October 8, 1991 the Personnel Committee reviewed this and is in agreement with the recommendation of Staff to change the position of Accountant from full-time to part-time regular status. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) That the City Council of the City of Ramsey hereby approves the change of status for the position of Accountant from full-time to pan-time regular. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Conncilmember and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: and the following voted against the same: and the following abstained: and the following were absent: whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council this the 22nd day of October, 1991.
