Phmmng Commisaion .~ °--03 2.03.01 Establishment of Commlssion~ A a~' planmng commission for the Oil' of Ramsey is hereby established. 2.0~.02 Composition. The planning commission shall consist of seven voting members who shall be appointed by the City Council and may be removed by s 4/5 vote of the council. The members shall be appointed for terms of four yeara. All appointees shall hold their offices until their successors are appointed and qualified. Vacancies dur/ng the term shall be i'filed by the City Council for the unexpired portion of the term. Evers' member shall, before entering upon the discharge of his duties, take an oath that he will faithfully discharge the duties of that office. All members shall serve without compensation. Commission members may be reimbursed for their necessary expenses incurred as a result of being a commission member. Members shall be residents of the City of Ramsey. 2.03.03 Organizations, Meetings, Etc. The Commission shall elect a chairman from among its appointed members for a term of one year; and the Comra~ssion ma)' create and fiI] such other offices as it ma), determine. The Commission shall hold at least one regular meeting each month. It shall follow Robert's l~ules of Order ~evised, 2nd Edition, for the transaction of business and shall keep a record of its resolutions, transactions, and findings, which record shall be a public record. Said record shall be transmitted to the City Council on m monthly basis. On or before JanuarF 1 of each year, the Comr~ission shall submit to the Ci~, Council a repo~ of its work during the preceding year. Expenditures of the Commission shall be ~dthin ~moumts appropriated for that purpose by the City Council. 2.0S.04 Powers and Duties of the Cor-r~¢sion.
