RESOLUTION RECEIVING BIDS AND AWARDING CONTRACT FOR IMPROVEMENT PROJECT g91-13 (EXTENSION OF SANITARY SEWER AND WATER TRUNK MAINS FOR CHESTNUT HILLS, CHESTNUT POND, CEDAR IlILLS, WOOD POND HILLS AND WINDEMERE WOODS ADDITIONS) WHEREAS, Resolution #91-09-221 authorized the preparation of plans and specifications for the above referenced work; and WItEREAS, the following bids were received: Bidder Landwehr Heavy Moving, Inc. S. J. Louis Construction Progressive Contractors Richard Knutson, Inc. Barbarossa and Sons J. P. Norex Arcon Construction, Inc Kenko, Inc. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) That the Mayor and City Administrator are hereby authorized and directed to enter into a contract with Landwehr Heavy Moving, Inc. in the name of the City of Ramsey for the extension of sanitary sewer and water trunk mains for Chestnut Hills, Chestnut Pond, Cedar Hills and Windemere Woods Additions in the amount of $731,180.10. 2) That the Consulting Engineer is hereby authorized and directed to return forthwith to all bidders the deposits made with their bids, except that the deposits of the successful bidder and the next to lowest bidder shall be retained until a contract has been signed. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: and the following voted against the same: and the following abstained:
