CASE # 1 <br /> <br />REQUEST FOR A VARIANCE FROM FRONT YARD SETBACK <br />REQUIREMENTS; CASE OF PATRICK BOEDIGHEIMER <br /> By: James Gromberg, Project Manager <br /> <br />Background: <br /> <br />Mr. Patrick Boedigheimer is proposing to construct a 672 square foot accessory <br />structure on his approximately 2.5 acre parcel located at 7944 - 142nd Ave. N.W. The <br />principal structure on the property is located approximately 305 feet from the front <br />property line. Mr. Boedigheimer is proposing to locate the new accessory structure in the <br />west side yard, but closer to the front property line than the principal structure to avoid <br />building the structure on the slope to the river and encroaching on natural drainage area. <br /> <br />The following items are enclosed for your information: <br /> <br />a) <br />b) <br />c) <br />d) <br />e) <br />fl <br />g) <br /> <br />Site Location Map <br />Application <br />Public Hearing Notice <br />Properties Notified List <br />Certificate of Survey <br />Proposed Findings of Facts <br />Proposed Variance <br /> <br />Observations: <br /> <br />On April 29, 1991, the City of Ramsey received an application for a variance from <br />Patrick Boedigheimer to construct an accessory structure nearer the front property line <br />than the principal structure. <br /> <br />The City has issued variances in this area in the past for the construction of accessory <br />structures in front of the principal structure. <br /> <br />Recommendation: <br /> <br />City Staff recommends approval of the variance from front yard setback requirements. <br /> <br />Board Action: <br /> <br />Motion to.' <br /> Adopt Findings of Fact relating to Mr. Patrick Boedigheimer's <br /> request for a variance from front yard set back requirements. <br /> <br />-and- <br /> <br />Motion to: <br /> Approve/Deny Mr. Patrick Boedigheimer's request for a variance from front yard <br /> set back requirements. <br /> <br />Review Checklist: <br /> <br />Zoning Administrator <br />Project Manager <br />City Engineer <br />Bd of Adj: 5/23/91 <br /> <br /> <br />
