February 6, 2014 <br />To Whom It May Concern: <br />I understand that the City of Ramsey is approving a Gun Shooting Range in <br />town that is located next to a Day Care where about 50 young children are <br />located. I have no problem with a shooting range, but the location seems <br />irresponsible. (Consider the following :) <br />Might the gun range be better served in a location like the industrial park <br />where little ones are not at the sight? It only takes one irresponsible person <br />to create a situation that all of you could not live with. Just the presence of <br />children coming and going from the day care and play in the playground is <br />not a good situation. I believe Total Defense would rather locate where this <br />risk does not exist. <br />Think about it! The Day Care has made the investment in their business <br />already and deserve to be recognized in this matter. Think of the parents, <br />would you like to drop your children off and pick them up with people using <br />and caring guns in and out next door not knowing the attitude of some of <br />those individuals. <br />Don't get me wrong I have nothing against guns or being trained to use <br />them, in fact I would like to take lessons and have a hand gun.
