It is not only a safety concern for having children so close to that environment, but the external <br />characteristics of a gun range (noise, etc.) would be disruptive to the child care facility as a whole. I find it <br />hard to believe that there is not a more appropriate site for the gun range that is available as well, where <br />it would not cause any safety or environmental concerns. As someone who worked in many different child <br />care facilities, I would not be comfortable with the children being next to a place like that, and as a parent, <br />I would not want my child being so close to such an unsafe environment.
