This has <br />become disturbing to me when I found out the location that they are looking to approve for the <br />site. <br />I have a hard time believing that there is not a better site in the city of Ramsey. The location that <br />is being looked at is next to my sons daycare. When I say next to I mean with in 50 feet of it. <br />With all of the recent incidents that have happened across the country with guns involving <br />children is this something that we really want our city to be known for? To allow the range to be <br />put into this area we are putting many children at risk. I know we cannot tell the future of what <br />will or could happen but would you as an elected city council member feel good about having <br />that over your head if a child was harmed because of this range. <br />Not only is there a child center next door to this building there is also other businesses <br />and houses within close aproximity. <br />My wife and I decided to move to the city of Ramsey almost 5 years ago because we saw a <br />community that was making the right decisions in growing businesses and would also give a safe <br />place for our kids to grow up. <br />I hope my voice as Parent and member of this Community will be heard in the help to stop the <br />movement of allowing Total Defense open a gun range in this location. <br />Joe Bruns <br />General Manager <br />Northtown #11 <br />218.330.1451 <br />Copyright © 2003-2014.
