<br />Councilmember Tossey introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #14-02-032 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING ENTERING INTO AGREEMENTS WITH INTEGRA FOR <br />PURCHASE OF PHONE SYSTEM AND MAINTENANCE CONTRACT <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, <br />the city’s current phone system is 18+ years old and is not only coming to the end <br />of its useful life, but is also very outdated in the technology that it can provide; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> the 2014 General Fund Budget as appropriated $105,000 for the purchase of a new <br />replacement phone system; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> staff has met with several vendors and based on price and options needed, Integra <br />(the city’s current phone provider) offered the phone features that the city desires within the budgeted <br />price range. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br /> <br />1)That the City Council of the City of Ramsey authorizes the City Administrator to enter <br />into a purchase and maintenance agreement with Integra for the purchase of the city’s <br />phone replacement system. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />LeTourneau, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br /> Mayor Strommen <br /> Councilmember Tossey <br /> Councilmember LeTourneau <br /> Councilmember Backous <br /> Councilmember Johns <br /> Councilmember Kuzma <br /> Councilmember Riley <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br /> None <br /> <br />and the following abstained: <br /> <br /> None <br /> <br />and the following were absent: <br /> <br /> None <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />
