<br />Councilmember Kuzma introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #14-02-034 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION ORDERING PREPARATION OF FEASIBILITY REPORT FOR <br />TH <br />RECONSTRUCTING GARNET STREET AND 168 AVENUE <br /> <br />th <br /> WHEREAS, <br />the City of Ramsey proposes to reconstruct Garnet Street between 167 <br />th <br />Avenue and a point approximately 300 feet south of 169 Lane NW, and to assess the benefitted <br />properties for all or a portion of the cost of the improvements, pursuant to Minnesota Statutes, <br />Chapter 429; and <br /> <br />th <br /> WHEREAS, <br />the City of Ramsey proposes to reconstruct 168 Avenue NW between the <br />cul-de-sac on the west end and Garnet Street on the east end, and to assess the benefitted <br />properties for all or a portion of the cost of the improvements, pursuant to Minnesota Statutes, <br />Chapter 429. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br /> <br />1.That the proposed improvement, designated as Improvement Project No. 13-10, be <br />referred to the City Engineer for study and that the City Engineer is instructed to report to <br />the Council with all convenient speed advising the Council in a preliminary way as to <br />whether the proposed improvement is necessary, cost-effective, and feasible; whether it <br />should best be made as proposed or in conjunction with some other improvement; the <br />estimated cost of the improvement as recommended; and a description of the methodology <br />used to calculate individual assessments for affected parcels. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />LeTourneau, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br /> Mayor Strommen <br /> Councilmember Kuzma <br />Councilmember LeTourneau <br />Councilmember Backous <br /> Councilmember Johns <br /> Councilmember Riley <br /> Councilmember Tossey <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br /> None <br /> <br /> <br />
