<br />Councilmember LeTourneau introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #14-01-024 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION ADOPTING THE 2014-2018 CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM <br />(CIP) <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, <br /> the Ramsey City Charter states that the City of Ramsey will adopt a Capital <br />Improvement Program (CIP) annually; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, <br /> the CIP will consist of at least five years, and will estimate the future needs <br />for the public health, safety and welfare of the City; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, <br /> the CIP shall consist of projects and facilities (capital improvements) <br />proposed to be undertaken during the next five fiscal years, which is 2014-2018 with appropriate <br />supporting information as to the necessity of such improvements, cost estimates, and method of <br />financing; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, <br /> the Capital Improvement Program (CIP) is a forecasting tool and not actual, <br />committee projects and expenditures. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THIS CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA that the findings of fact relating <br />to the request are determined to be as follows: <br /> <br /> <br />1) The City Council of the City of Ramsey authorizes the adoption of the 2014-2018 Capital <br />Improvement Program (CIP) <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Johns, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br /> Mayor Strommen <br /> Councilmember LeTourneau <br /> Councilmember Johns <br /> Councilmember Backous <br /> Councilmember Kuzma <br /> Councilmember Riley <br /> Councilmember Tossey <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br /> None <br /> <br />and the following abstained: <br /> <br /> None <br /> <br />and the following were absent: <br /> <br /> None <br /> <br />
